CALSF cleanly got through their light bracket that also had the withdrawl of Worm’Hub needing to play only two matches. After that they lost a decently close match to Odin’s where they didn’t handle long ranged webs appropriately and then barely squeaked out a win as they survived a heavy rush into their solo Leshak anti rush comp. I hope they can continue to push further, but I haven’t seen the strongest performances out of them yet.

What would I do?
They’ve shown a strong preference for their Leshak and Zarmazd and have historically had a liking for these two ships. That said, CALSF has always been a strong theory team and I’m sure has some pocket comps waiting for the final weekend. To that end however I would still ban them off of their Leshak and Zarmazd and add the Curse in as well, knowing their history as Curse enjoyers.

Sleipnir
Myrmidon Navy Issue
Naga
Phantasm
Moa

Osprey
Gunboat comps have often been the name of the game against this team as having enough high damage distributed can even out against them running lower damage ship counts but more control.
Alligator

Maulus

Jaguar
Similar to a lot of teams that like running heavy armor, the triple Gator kite core could have great success in this matchup.
Dominix

Finally, a full drone all-in could be just the right comp for this match to counter a heavy control core, with the ability to locally MJD or use beacons around the grid and spread while continually applying drone damage. But this comp hates Thunderdome.
