Description
This comp is based around a large core of battlecruisers and cruisers with medium long-range weapons. Historically created as octo/pseudodad, this comp has evolved and regained popularity in the last few ATs given the four ships per hull size rule and scripted ewar.
Standard Tactics
This comp has one of the most versatile execution capabilities of any comp available. It can apply decent damage at long range and apply well to small ships from that range, but it really shines in Javelin/Gleam range where it can output more DPS than most comps with near full application. Individual pilots are able and need to manage their own ranges and tracking, with both attacking and retreating depending on if they’re being attacked or ignored. Access to near full links across the comp without needing to sacrifice ships for role specific links is also a strong benefit of the comp.
