Description
I am grouping both the Minmatar rush and the HAM rush in this comp. While both have their specific nuances the key is pairing fast ships, enough tackle to distribute and hold down multiple enemy ships close, and overwhelming close range damage.
Standard Tactics
For HAM rush you will commonly see Lokis which serve a dual purpose of range tackle and application support with their webs. For a Minmatar rush the Broadsword does incredibly with the range tackle and application for medium ACs usually doesn’t require webs. The keys to success are getting through the opponents key core dps ships quickly and then snowball the dps difference through the match.
