Anger Games 6: Final Weekend Teams – Paid Actors

Forsaken Empire has impressed me so far this year with some sneaky strong comps and wins against Rote, Odin’s and Exodus. They should have an easier opponent in Rusty Hyenas in their next match, but will need to continue to impress to get further.

What would I do?

Paid Actors have managed to get through with a couple drone comps and their unique Tempest based rush comp that turns out to be a solid counter against other rushes. Often banning the Curse, their rush comps don’t struggle as heavily against comps that could easily hard counter them, but they have yet to show any particular inclination to run a control comp themselves, both in this tournament or in prior ones. Much like Spooky Action, I would target their kite and drones with the Orthrus, Gila, and Alligator bans.

I would run a solo Leshak core similar to the way the Barghest comp is set up as well with the heavy long range webs from the rapier supported by disruption from the Sentinel.

Another option would be to go for a heavy kite comp with Barghests to clip through their affinity for light cruisers as tackle while keeping an armor Hyena in reserve for screening.

Finally, if a heavy armor brawl is more to taste, brining something super heavy with ranged Loki webs and missile dps, paired with a swarm of repair bots and two deacons should grant plenty of sustain against the majority of their comps.
